New Space

“We call it Space 3.0 … There are new opportunities and new capabilities now. The distinction is that they are all driven by cost innovation. The mindset is first and foremost about getting the cost very low.”

Lisa Porter, former Associate Administrator for Aeronautics at NASA

Here at Orange Silicon Valley, we ask ourselves what the Orange Group should look like if we were to create it today. Because Orange relentlessly looks at the best ways to connect our clients and corporate customers, space tech falls among the areas we investigate when it comes to disrupt ourselves before anyone else does.

The New Space formation at Orange Silicon Valley actively engages with the commercial space startup ecosystem in the Bay Area and elsewhere to identify, help finance, and partner with the most promising makers and innovators of the space industry of today and tomorrow.
